Who We Are
Tapestries Group is an AI and Power BI advisory firm operating at tapestriesgroup.com. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What We Collect
Information you give us. Through our contact form: your name, business name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of help you are looking for, and whatever you write in the message field. Through our chat widget: whatever you type into it, along with any contact details you provide.
Information collected automatically. Your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you view, and how you move through the site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described below.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use this site. It sets cookies and collects information such as your IP address, pages viewed, time on site, and referring source. This information is transmitted to and stored by Google. Use of Google Analytics is subject to the Google Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Chat and Marketing Tools
We use HubSpot for our chat widget and for marketing and CRM purposes. HubSpot sets cookies to recognise returning visitors, records the content of chat conversations, and links website activity to your contact record if you have given us your details. HubSpot processes this information on our behalf. See the HubSpot privacy policy at legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.
Visitor Identification
We use ZoomInfo WebSights, which attempts to identify the company a visitor is associated with by matching your IP address and related technical signals against ZoomInfo's business database. This means we may learn which organisation visited our site and which pages were viewed, even if you never fill in a form. In some configurations this can be associated with individual-level business contact data held by ZoomInfo.
Depending on where you live, this kind of activity may be treated as "sharing" or "selling" personal information under privacy law. You can read ZoomInfo's privacy policy at zoominfo.com/legal/privacy-policy, and you can request access, correction, deletion, or removal of your profile through their privacy centre at zoominfo.com/trust-center/your-privacy. ZoomInfo states that it automatically honours Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser.
Spam Protection
Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent automated submissions. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google for analysis. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service at policies.google.com.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
This site uses several categories of cookies and similar technologies:
Necessary: required for WordPress and the site to function, and for reCAPTCHA to protect our form.
Analytics: set by Google Analytics to measure site usage.
Marketing and identification: set by HubSpot and ZoomInfo to recognise visitors, power chat, and identify visiting organisations.
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working correctly.
How We Use It
We use this information to respond to your enquiry, to understand what you need, to follow up about working together, to measure how our site performs, and to identify organisations that may be a fit for our services. We do not sell your information for money, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.
Who We Share Data With
We share information with service providers who help us operate this business: our website host, our email provider, Google (analytics and reCAPTCHA), HubSpot (chat, marketing, and CRM), and ZoomInfo (visitor identification). These providers process information under contract with us. We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.
How Long We Keep It
We keep contact enquiries and CRM records for as long as needed to respond and maintain a record of our business relationship. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics retention setting. Server and security logs are retained on a rolling short-term basis. If you would like your information deleted, contact us and we will remove it.
Your Choices
You can opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on linked above, block or delete cookies in your browser, decline or close the chat widget, and use ZoomInfo's privacy centre to request removal from their database. Enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser signals an opt-out that several of these providers honour.
Your Rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. To make a request, email us using the address below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Data Security
This site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable measures to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
