OUR STORY
How We Got Here
We started in AI advisory, helping small and mid-sized businesses actually use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot — not just experiment with them. Along the way, the same businesses kept asking a related question: we have all this data, but we can’t see what’s happening in our own business.
So we built out a Power BI practice too. Same philosophy, different toolset: senior people, fixed prices, dashboards and workflows your team will actually use — not a proof of concept that gets shelved. Today Tapestries Group runs two practices under one roof: AI Advisory and Power BI Advisory, and most of our clients end up using both.

I’ve spent 15+ years in the Microsoft ecosystem — as a Dynamics 365 solution architect, as a functional consultant on the trade, logistics and inventory side, and then building Power BI and Fabric reporting for teams who had quietly stopped trusting their own numbers.
Two decades of that work leaves you with a long list of people you’d trust with your own clients. That matters more than it sounds. Every engagement starts with me — scoping, and usually building. When a project needs a second set of hands or a specialty I don’t claim, I don’t hire a junior and bill you to train them. I call someone I already know is excellent.
